It is very difficult to synchronize buying a house abroad and selling a house here in the UK. There is a solution however!
If you have a gap of a few days or weeks before you can move into your new home, we offer a containerised storage solution here at our Kent location.
If it is only for a few days, your effects can probably stay loaded, especially on our flexi service as we will probably incorporate those few days into our routing plan anyway. If not, some of our trucks have demountable container bodies which we can simply place in our warehouse still loaded for a few days.
Alternatively, for longer periods, we either store in steel or wooden containers inside our warehouse until you need your effects, at which time your effects will be loaded and transported for delivery. At all times, the containers are sealed shut and are securely stored so you can just leave them there indefinitely until you need delivery.

Q. Can I get access to my effects anytime.
A. Unfortunately, in a commercial warehouse, this is not as easy as Self Storage where you have a padlock key and a small room. Once your goods are in a container, they really should stay closed as you cannot simply walk in – ie the goods are stacked carefully and neatly to make the most of the space. If you DO need to get access, please note that the container will need to be brought forward, unsealed and unstowed for you to get something out. It then needs to be reloaded again. In these circumstances, a charge will have to be made to cover the costs of labour etc. Currently it is £60.00 + VAT per container per visit.
